The Bears
Karl (with his brother Lee) is one of the ‘Terrible Twins’ at the Orphanage.
The twins are noisy and mischievous and always seem to be in trouble, although they don’t mean any harm. Karl is the naughtier one of the two, but he is a good talker and always seems to pass on the trouble to his brother, whilst pretending to be innocent! The twins have often been adopted by humans, but every time they seem to end up back at the Orphanage, because they are just too much of a handful.
In their adventures, they are often involved in rescuing other bears, and they love swinging and jumping and walking on tightropes. They are always in the thick of things and leading others on.
Karl’s favourite saying (normally to his brother) is, “There’s always one, and it’s always you!”
